I have used ttts4 & ttts5 on several TS-7800s without any problems. The lack of
response to your question indicates that no one else has had this problem,
either. One thing you might do is check that you are using the correct pins on
the COM3 header. They are not numbered as you might expect. See section 5.1 of
the TS-7800 manual for the pin numbering on the COM headers.
