Heh, I just went through a similar argument in another Yahoo group - the old 
guard really don't want to move, even if it is an almost transparent process.

In the case of the ts-7000 list I strongly suggest you forget about using the 
Yahoo interface for anything apart from the file space.

Andrew Taylor has archived this group going back a long way. Google has indexed 
this archive.

Given that people can post using their own mail clients, the archives are 
google-able, and the file space well-used, I think this group is making ideal 
use of Yahoo and should remain here.
