Ian,

We did recompile the loader and it seems to have loaded the FPGA.  The problem 
is we can not access the serial ports we had been able to with the stock ts7300 
software.  I wonder if we are getting the correct version of the loader and/or 
the correct include (.h) files that will make it compatible with the 2.6 
kernel.  Any pointers to what we need to correctly build the loader for 2.6?  
If the loader is independent of the kernel then we have a different (and hard 
to find) problem.
