I'm fairly new to the ts-7000 world, but I would make an educated guess 
that the mini-sd is formatted either vfat or ntfs.. this is going to 
cause you issues.. also the mini sd will need a boot sector correctly 
defined before it's going to facilitate booting properly.

What exactly happens after you exit fastboot ?
