[ts-7000] i2c on TS-7500

I am looking for any help I can get with using i2c on TS-7500.
The manual says to contact Cavium for documentation on i2c for the arm9.
I am waiting to get "accepted" by Cavium to access their documentation.
I have compiled the example "i2ctemp.c" and when I run it I get...
"write_TWI_data: Assertion `!getbit(&reg[0x14/sizeof(unsigned)],0)' failed"..
which I have not been able to figure out...
So, any information, working code, any help with i2c on TS-7500 would be 
appreciated..
