1) you need to start minicom on ttyS0 (please verify this) to send AT command manually
2) To have a led to blink, TS-GSM1 need
  a) valid SIM card
  b) antenna with good signal (try AT-CSQ command to get signal strength)

To automate you SMS message, You can setup software (eg python with appropriate library) to open ttyS0 and send commands.
Not shure sending imiage by SMS is the best strategy.  I would setup pppd instead.

Enjoy,

Subject: [ts-7000] how to Use TS-GSM1(GR64) with TS-7800

Hi All,

I'm very new in TS embedded ARM.. Actually I have a project use TS-GSM1(GR64) with TS-7800 which is send image from capturing by CMUcam3 and then send MMS using TS-GSM1...

My question is:

1)how to configure TS-GSM1 with TS-7800... If anyone can help me how to test the TS-GSM1(GR64) such as to call my handphone/ send SMS by using TS-GSM1..I already have AT command from Sony Ericsson manual..but still no clear about the AT command how to use it.

2)Already connect Ts-GSM module with TS-7800 by plug in at the PC/104..And only LED solid On.. No blinking at 2Hz as refer to the TS-GSM1 manual.

Anyone can help me or give some clearly direction to me how to used TS-GSM1 with TS-7800..
