Currently, there is a known issue with the zd_b.o + 2.4 kernel driver that
causes lock-ups in the mere presence of a Wireless N network. The official
T.S. stance is to move away from the IO Gear USB Dongle and find a replacement
unit (the IO Gear Dongle is going EOL). We have not found an official
replacement yet, but the Belkin F5D7050 with the Ralink RT2501 chipset (rt73.o
module) is working beautifully. I have made the drivers (binaries and source)
and wpa_supplicant/wpa_passphrase available for download via FTP, but cannot
support them at this time. In 24 hours at the time of this post, they can be
found here:
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/tmp/rt2501_rt73_wireless/
You may download them sooner using the following link, but download speed will
be limited:
ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/tmp/rt2501_rt73_wireless/
I hope this helps.
