/etc/exports now has:
/home/craign    192.168.1.yyy(rw,sync,no_subtree_check,no_root_squash,insecure)

But
sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.107:/home/craign /mnt/backup -o nolock

still hangs.  Is this hopeless?
