[ts-7000] Qt embedded on 7300: how to adjust mouse speed, icon, and titlebar color?

All,

When running a Qt3/C++ app: "appname -qws", using the linux framebuffer (no 
XWindows), how do you set the mouse speed? How do you change the Qt icon, and 
how do you adjust the titlebar color?

The documentation of all parties involved (Linux, Qt Embedded, XWindows) seem 
to deny they have control over these, or claim they do -but I can't seem to get 
them to change. Is there a fourth party involved?
