I'm booting from SD card where in some case, when the system experience improper shutdown, it will cause the SD card kernel corrupted and won't boot anymore. It happen sometimes where I have to dd the fresh system image to the SD card again when the board is powered on and off many times. Does anyone experience the same problem? How did you solve the issue? On Mon, Oct 19, 2009 at 9:33 PM, Jim Jackson <> wrote:
Actually, I have already done that shutdown program via DIO and watchdog. It's just I'm thinking if I could use the shutdown function in other way without using the DIO input. Anyway, if you also said like that, then I should stick with my DIO shutdown and watchdog program. With a bit more electronics you could get this program to shutdown the I wish someone would love to share their experience with this electronics because I don't have any idea on how to do it yet. ;D.
