nSec timer resolutions is not in the ep93xx vanilla kernel, nor even the rt
patch any more. It disappeared from the rt patch around 2.6.24; apparently
nobody noticed, and it hasn't been put back (yet). Forward porting the ep93xx
HRT patch would be a nice starter project, if you are looking for one.
building a kernel from scratch and I downloaded what appears to be a 2.6.29
kernel tarball from the 7260 subdirectory on the TS website. But I've never
built a kernel before let alone one that is tailored to the SBC. I fired up
menuconfig and there are more options than a Chinese restaurant menu (or
perhaps a really great NY deli). So, does anyone have a config file or list of
options that are required to build a kernel for TS boards? Perhaps a list of
stuff you should never attempt to use would be good too.

Two suggestions: get the 2.6.21-TS (?) kernel source file, and look at the
configs in there. Then get a vanilla 2.6.29.1 kernel and Matthieu Crapet's
patch set (mcrapet.free.fr) and look at the default configs in there (the
patchset, I mean).
OK, three suggestions: When in menuconfig, use the slash key to do a keyword
search, and use the '?' key for help on the particular config option you are
viewing.
