Also,  I would not try to make kernel modules from the windows eclipse setup.  I thought I read somewhere that you couldn't.  Someone correct me if you can.  Either a dedicated linux box, or a virtual machine running linux are the preferred development environment.  On that subject, could I upload a 1gb vmware image to the files section for others to use as a starting point.  ts7300 2.4 kernel and qt setup.

Thanks for help

I am trying to compile simple hello world module, but it never works below is my makefile,

obj-m := intrmodule.o

all:
make -C /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build M=$(PWD) modules
clean:
make -C /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build M=$(PWD) clean

on giving make I got the following error

ts7000:/home/eclipse/mod# make
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.21-ts/build M=/home/eclipse/mod modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.21-ts/build: No such file or directory. Stop.
make: *** [all] Error 2

what changes I have to do to compile the module.
