[ts-7000] Cross compile steps

Hello List

I have a working toolchain on ubuntu running in virtualbox.
as you may know this environment is slower then the host machine I'm  
working on (machintosh)
I would like to rebuild from scratch the toolchain on my mac.
I was able to compile several different combination and have working  
gcc, but all the generated code (file command correctly gives arm  
binary) gives Illegal instruction when run on the board (I'm using a  
TS-7390 with linux 2.6 as it came from Technologic)
can someone give me (or the rest of us) the right combination of  
version of the tools and the configure parameters to be used?
