[ts-7000] Stumped: kernel 2.6.29.1 for TS-7390

I'm banging my head against the wall trying to get a new kernel running. Here's 
what I've done:

1. Download stock kernel 2.6.29.1 sources
2. Applied Matt's patches, applied Ted's patches.
3. make ts7350_defconfig; make (using arm-none-linux-gnueabi toolchain from TS)
4. dd if=arch/arm/boot/Image of=/dev/sdc2
Never gets past Booting from SD card. . .

I've tried recompiling with dynamic printk() and I don't get any messages so I 
assume it's not even getting that far. Anybody have any idea what I'm missing?
