I am trying to upgrade my TS7800 from sarge to the latest stable so I hopefully
can run xserver-xorg on it. I set my sources.list to

deb ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free

Then I did an apt-get update then did an apt-get dist-upgrade, but during the
later it fails with

Setting up dpkg (1.14.25) ...
chown: changing ownership of `\315+': No such file or directory
dpkg: error processing dpkg (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

How do I get past this error? Does anyone have any hints or tips on how to get
an Xserver running on the 7800 with the 7kv's vga output? The only notes I saw
while searching was to dist-upgrade from sarge, which leads me to this error.

Thanks much

Jim Steed
