Well happily it just compiled straight up and works. Since I'm not touching the 
kernel driver it seems not to raise any problems.

I will migrate it later. The first objective is to port what I have to eabi. 
That is nearly completed.

However the speed increase I'm getting running gnuplot on eabi is nowhere near 
what some benchmarks had suggested.

It's nearer 2x faster than 18x faster. That's still worth having but a bit of a 
disappointment.

I guess gnuplot must be doing a lot of non FP work as well.
