We are using TS-7300 and we noticed USB stuff is still running in background for a while after boot (10 seconds is a good number )
At one point, we will have to shorten boot time of our application too

Hi all,

I am working with the ts.7800 board and playing with init script "linuxrc". I have included 5 new lines in the original linuxrc-fastboot version in order to insert several kernel modules (v4l1-compat, v4l2-common, compat-ioctl32, videodev and uvcvideo). This way I can use my UVC webcam in 2.6.21 kernels.

Also I have included a call to my own script. Surprisingly the script starts 10 secs after booting. I am starting to think that the booting process is not finished at 0.68 secs, and that there are still processes happening in the background.

The most important reason for which we selected the ts-7800 board was because its low booting time.

Has someone experienced the same behaviour?

is the 0.68 secs booting time for real?

Thanks a million,

Magda
