What software are you using for your GUI? I would like to use Java AWT with
customized bitmaps (which has worked well on a previous project), but it
might be too slow for this board.
Also, are you custom designing your UPS or using an off the shelf
product? I've always thought
a PC/104 based supercap UPS would be a good product for ensuring safe
shutdowns.
