I had the same problem initially.
/usr/bin/loadUSBModules.sh worked fine but I had to press enter on the console
to get a shell prompt again.
But then /usr/bin/loadUSB.sh craps out if you Control-D like it says. Another
posting said to press Enter to complete the boot process.
