First, thanks for putting this all up on a wiki! It's great to see all of your
hard work preserved, so others won't have to reinvent or rediscover ...

The only suggestion I have for now regards the machine ID. I would suggest
that you note what it is, so people could use one of the several 'force machine
id' patches floating around. Some would prefer that over binary patching.
Sounds like you are already noting that, based on above.

But doesn't the TS-7800 have an assigned machine ID from Russel? If so, should
you not be using that?

I know you wrote that the wiki is not for windows or redhat (RPM) users, but
you should know that devio seems to be somewhat debian specific. Perhaps you
could just note that one would need to get & build devio from source if it's
not available from your distro (redhat or RPM based distros). Devio is here:
http://devio.sourceforge.net/

Finally, on your link page, can you add a link to the MV88F5182 manual on the
TS site? It's here:
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7800-linux/docs/MV88F5182-opensource-manual.pdf

regards, .......... Charlie
