Hi all,
i'm newbie on TS-7800 and i want to discover the basic rules of this product.
At the first time i want to boot the system from a 2Gb microSD card. Below my
steps:
1. I've downloaded from official TS ftp repository the files below:
a. sd-mbr.dd
b. initrd-busybox-rootfs-latest.dd
c. kernel-image-latest.dd
d. debian-lenny-eabi-armel-512MB-mar032009.tar.gz
2. For microSD card creation:
a. dd if=sd_mbr.dd of=/dev/sde
b. dd if=kernel-image-latest.dd of=/dev/sde2
c. dd if=initrd-busybox-rootfs-latest.dd of=/dev/sde3
d. I've remove the four partition with fdisk and i've recreate it to
fill entire disk.
e. mkfs.ext3 /dev/sde4
f. I've extract debian-lenny-eabi-armel-512MB-mar032009.tar.gz into
this partion (i want test the nel version of debian "Lenny");
Now. I've attach JP1 and i've insert the microSD. Below my output using RS232
cable and minicom on linux workstation:
>> TS-BOOTROM - built Dec 4 2008
>> Copyright (c) 2008, Technologic Systems
>> Booting from microSD card...

I'm not sure that it boot from microSD and if i write "exit"...TS7800 boot from
flash.
I've changed symbolic link (ln -sf /linuxrc-sdroot /linuxrc; save); I've
substitute into /linuxrc-sdroot " /dev/tssdcardb4" with " /dev/tssdcarda4" for
permit the boot from microSD instead normal SD card.
Where are my errors?
How can boot Full Debian OS from microSD card? Is right that i exec "exit"
command?
