[ts-7000] Serial connection problem on TS7800.

Hi,
Has anyone provide any advice on how to get the ttts6 comport in DIO header in 
TS7800 working? Is this port using CMOS (3.3V) or TTL (5V)? The manual states 
TTL, and I thought it was 5V level, but double-check in the schematic shows 
that the DIO is drawing only 3.3V.

Presently, when I try to connect my TTL sesnor output to ttts6 directly, I got 
garbage data.....so I suspect I need a TTL to CMOS converter...

Can anyone recommend such commercial converter? I hope to find one standalone 
converter which I can connect direclty, instead of getting the level shifter 
chips and start to do interface myself which is cumbersome....
