Anything interrupt driven will need you to write or find a kernel
driver. If you are using the optional MAX197 A/D, there is a kernel
module for that in the files area of the group, written by Phil
McCarley, adc-0.0.2.tar.gz. It works great for me.

For PWM, you might want to check out the XDIO on the TS-7260.
