You have several options:
- use flashboot and linuxrc-sdroot (TS7400 namual, p. 12)
This way flashboot kernel and initrd is loaded. Then root from sdcard
is booted.
- use flashboot and bootload - I didn't try this
- use sdboot (http://www.embeddedarm.com/software/arm-linux-fastboot-ts7300.php)
Kernel, initrd and root are stored on sdcard. ts7400 boars is
essentialy stateless, just change sdcard. I use this approach now ...
