Hi folks, I know this group is not about TS-5600 but I hope you can
give me some advises, recently a decide involve in a project where
programming the TS-5600 is the main subject. The problem: there isnt
any information about the card and the embeddedarm.com page is the
worst, the best thing I been able to do is to install the OS tslinux
(kernel 2.4.23-2.5-ts) on the Compact FLash, but my worst nightmare
just begin cause gcc isnt there so I try to compile from a "tool" the
TS-Dev-Cd-v1.0.2.img (file downloaded from embeddedarm.com for
Development) and copy Linux file to my desktop and run it in User Mode
Linux (#linux), I was happy when I see gcc installed in this OS, but
the there is a new problem cause there no way to modify any file in
this OS (cause this is a IMAGE!!), even if was able to compile how can
I take out this files from this UML OS? . I try crosscompiling but im
a newbie in linux so i cant get anything. So, if someone knows or
has a clue for my problem I will apreciate that.

Thanks.

David Puentes.
