I use 2.4 kernel in ARM TS 7250 Board
 Camera: QuickCam GO
SPCA5XX is the camera driver.
i use the following command to capture the frame

 spcacat -d /dev/video0 -f jpg -b -s 640x480 -N 1 -o

i have attached the picture i have got from the camera
 it is not very good

where as i have also attached another picture i have captured in winodws
 PC
with the same camera at the same time it is good
this makes sure there is no problem with the camera.

in what way i can improve the picture quality in spcacat

when i capture in the dark environment with light on the object it is
 better
i have attached that picture also... in the dark environment the capture
from spcacat and in windows PC are almost same

only during the day light time i have this problem
any thing to do with brightness

i have also tried  yuv/r16/r24 but no improvement ( by the bye even
during
this file format also i get only jpg file?)
i also tried with and without -b and -l instead of -s
any help will be highly appreciated
 -laks
