Hi,

I think the question was more one how to partition the sdcard, in term 
of number of sectors, primary partion or extended partition.

I didn't find any information in TS documentation on how to patition 
yourself the SDCard. Perhaps it is as simple as creating 4 primary 
partition, whatever the size of them.

As well, it seems that you are locked up with using a kernel with an 
initrd followed by a pivot root to your NAND flash or your SD card.
Which is a bit annoying because you lost your root device, and 
consequently a df -h doesn't show anything about freespace of your "/"...
