Like many others in this group, we are working towards using linux 2.6 with a
TS board,
specifically the TS-7260. Technologic Systems has great respect for the talent
and
support of this TS-7000 User Group, and sends credit back to the group for
collecting and
advancing the sources and patches that went into the making of the
linux-2.6.21-ts
kernel. However, when we asked them for details of which sources they started
with
specifically, and what patches were applied, they simply directed us back to
the group,
echoing the sentiments of their webpage:
https://www.embeddedarm.com/software/arm-
linux-26-ts72xx.php

So, can someone here provide more information than TS is forthcoming with about
how to
get from, say, linux-2.6.21.tar.bz2 to tskernel-2.6.21-ts-src.tar, other than
by untarring,
diffing, and applying a big patch? Is there a better starting point than the
sources
available from www.kernel.org?

Carrying those questions forward, could someone expound on what may be included
in
the linux-2.6.21-ts sources that hasn't made its way into the ongoing efforts
which
Matthieu Crapet so generously posts to this group, or those which Christopher
Friedt
included in his gentoo-wiki for ts7xxx?

Best regards,

Steve H.
