well, root won't work, it's disabled for telnet, I can't tell you off hand how to re-enable it. You may need to create a new user to do telnet logins and then su to root once logged in. For this obviously you need to login in some way other then telnet, e.g. serial console.

Hello All,
I am trying to telnet in the TS-7300 board as follows

: ~$ telnet IP Address of TS-7300 board
Trying IP Address..
Connected to IP Address
Escape character is '^]'.
Debian GNU/Linux 4.0
ts7000 login: ts7000
Password:

I don't understand what password should I put in here. I tried couple
of things like root, ts700 or simply leaving it blank but none of them
worked.
Can someone please help me?
