Update:

My mistake , now it works!

Here the way I got it working

1) Started Debian from USB Stick

2) loaded zd_b.o located in /lib/modules/2.4.26-ts11/kernel/net

insmod zd_b.o

3)started wlan 

ifconfig wlan0 up

4)configured wlan0

iwconfig wlan0 essid ts7260 mode Ad-Hoc key off

5)set ip of wlan0

ifconfig wlan0 192.168.0.100

6)routed it to default gateway

route add default gw 192.168.0.1

finshed

now I set my laptop also in Adhoc mode

and ping,telnet,http to 192.168.0.100 works fine
