Hi everyone,

I have an automotive application which uses the TS-12W. My first pass
at power control was the simplest -- to have a switch between the
12VDC line and the TS-12W powering my stack.

However, the TS-12W manual discusses a soft power input signal -- the
stack power is off when high and on when low (or open). I
considered using that for some soft power control with an AVR or
something. Thinking about it though, the '1' requires +5V which means
I need access to a 5 VDC source which is only available when the power
supply is enabled. I looked at the schematic and it indeed appears
the soft power signal is essentially tied back into the voltage
regulator enable.

To cut to the chase -- is this the case? Would I need a second p/s to
do this?

Jeff
