Hi Diego --

I have used HRT & CONFIG_PREEMPT with a 2.6.21 or .22 kernel, but that
is on a TS-7250 board (ep9302 chip). They work very well; as you
said, microsecond resolution, very low overhead and very low latency.

HRT for the marvel chip in the TS-7800 have been in mainline kernel
since 2.6.27, and a few HRT fixes will be in 2.6.28 (not related to
TS-7800), but I don't have a TS-7800 to try out.

Please post your results if you try it. There are several latency &
HRT testing programs available.

Regards, ......... Charlie
