I cannot communicate with the RS-485 port. So far I have done the
following:

1. Connected TS7800(port2, pins1-6)-->RS485toUSBconverter
2. Opened /dev/ttyS1 (for COM2);
3. Cleared 0xE800000C top bit (bit 15) to zero to set RS485 mode;
4. Disabled both getty lines in /etc/inittab;
5. Modified and tested multiple port configurations (using termios
functions).

I have no problems using RS-232 and see no software errors when
configuring any port. At this point I am wondering if my board has
the rs485 option (I did purchase it).

Does anybody know of any way to check if the option is installed? I
tried looking at the chips but cannot access them all.

Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
