Hi everyone!
I recently upgraded the SD Card's debian distro of my
TS-TPC-7390 from etch to lenny, following the advice in
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ts-7000/message/12621 and
recompiling the kernel accordingly.
It works fine and booted perfectly after apt-get dist-upgrade, except
for the XOrg Server (new 7.3+18 version)! (Etch version is 7.1.0-19
and the one included originally in TS-kit is 7.1.1)
It displays the following error when loading the fbdev_drv.so and the
(something event driver) asociated with the touchscreen controller.
(EE) module ABI major version (0) doesn't match the server's version (2)
It simply won't load. I tried Xorg -ignoreABI, but no luck either. I'm
pretty sure fbdev_drv.so was updated as well by the upgrade, from
package xserver-xorg-video-fbdev. I suspect (from searching google)
that some driver or module isn't up to date to run with this server.
Could anyone help me with this?
I temporarily copied the original server binaries and libs over and it
works, but with a "big" lag, and the sound played at the start by the
board "repeats a part". I would like to install the lenny version of
Xorg even if I have to recompile other stuff. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
