Hi,
I am trying to install libfprint0 on the TS-TPC-7390 running debian
from the SD card. (http://reactivated.net/fprint/wiki/Libfprint)

As the library is only available in the testing reps (ie. for the
lenny distro), when I try to install the package it tells me i need a
bunch of libraries (new versions) like libc6 and others which would
break my etch install. I tried to do this but it complains while
trying to automatically remove an incompatible base package.

What would be the way to upgrade to lenny, or (preferably) make an SD
with it from scratch?

What other way is there to get the library working? If it means
recompiling, how can I deal with the dependencies (requires newer
builds than for etch) and the cross compiling toolchain (it asks for
GCC 4.2.1> to compile it, which is much newer than the one provided by TS)

Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,
Alberto
