Yes, that works! However, I note that it only works if my zd_b.o has
been insmodded. Which will probably be OK, I'll prompt my user to
insert wireless adapter, insmod the zd, check /proc/net/dev, then
proceed to load my networking stuff if I see wlan0.

I guess I can't expect to "see" the wireless adapter without the
module being installed, right? When I plug it in without the module, I
get the "device not claimed by any active driver" message.
