Hi everyone,
Has anyone been able to successfully record audio through a USB audio
device attached to a TS-7800? The ALSA tool 'aplay' works fine, but
'arecord' does not, and gives the dreaded 'cannot submit datapipe for
urb 0, error -28: not enough bandwidth' log message.
In researching the problem on other platforms, people have upgraded the
ALSA drivers, and some have even upgraded the kernel to one later than
2.6.21. I'm not sure if that's an option since I don't know to what
extent TS has modified the kernel and/or kernel ALSA drivers.
The USB audio device I have does work on other systems --- just not on
the 7800. If all else fails, I may have to try finding a PC/104 audio
card (that too has been a chore).
So if anyone has ideas, or names of USB audio devices that work (record)
out of the box with the 7800, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
Thanks in advanced!
