I'm very confused:
I messed up my TS7800 flash so I reset the flash using createmtdroot
after booting from the SD (with JP1 installed).
Then, I rebooted, but with JP1 removed (however, I inadvertently left
the SD card in).
I setup my box as I want it...
The next day I took the SD card out and rebooted...
viola... my setup is completely gone. Woe! What's going on...
So I put the SD card back in... reboot (all the while JP1 is still
removed) and my setup is back.
So somehow, I managed to setup my linux only on the SD card full
debian, and my flash is the basic, post 'createmtdroot' version.
What gives?
1) Why would it load full debian linux off the SD, if JP1 is not on.
2) How does one restore the SD back to it's original, raw state?
3) Generally, what in tar nation is going on?
Help.
