Hi,
I need some help with compiling/installing the kernel 2.6 on TS-7300
sd-card. I decided to do it because of JFS (i have some problems with
power off without shudown), touch driver (I saw it inside the kernel
modules) and wi-fi (it's instable).

I already downloaded sources from ftp
(ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7300-linux/sources/tskernel-2.6.21-ts-src.tar.gz)
and compiled using crosstool-linux26-3.4.4-2005q3-2, also from ftp
(maybe http). The SD-Card module didn't work, but i found it also in
ftp
(ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7300-linux/binaries/ts-modules/tskernelmodules-2.6.21-ts.tar.gz).

Now I have the image inside /arch/arm/boot directory, and i read in
oz.embeddedarm.com/~michael I need to make a dd if=zImage of=/dev/sdb1
bs=65536 to put it in the SD.

But I also want to know what i need to do to generate an adequate
initrd and to put it in partition2 of SD.

I think the files of partition 3 i can simply uncompress and paste
there, is it correct?

Is there anyone who already did it? I saw some messages talking about
that, but there is no "tutorial" for dummies.

Thanks

Adriano
