Hello,

Our application uses 2 YAFFS partitions and we've noticed that one of
them always reports that some blocks are damaged while the other does
not. We have noticed this on three separate TS-7250 boards. The
problem appears while running the mkyaffs utility --

Erasing block at 0x08acc000
Erasing block at 0x08ad0000
Block at 0x08ad4000 is damaged and is not being formatted
Block at 0x08ad8000 is damaged and is not being formatted

These units have not had a lot of use so I find it difficult to believe
that the flashes are actually going bad. It is also very suspicious
that this only occurs on our second yaffs partition and that it occurs
on all three of our units. Has anyone else encountered this, and if
so, is there any workaround or fix that you may know of? Thanks in
advance for any help!

Gary
