Well, I don't have the TS-7400, I have the TS-7250
and TS-7300, both of which exhibit bad serial
behavior when the interfaces are opened in an
application and are also listed in inittab. In my
inittab I have the entries commented out:
#lgn0:12345:respawn:/sbin/getty -L 115200 ttyAM0
#lgn1:12345:respawn:/sbin/getty -L 115200 ttyAM1
The bad behavior that I was seeing was that my
application would stop receiving characters, there
would be missing characters in the datastream coming
in to the application and then eventually no more
characters would be received.
Hell, it's worth commenting them out and trying
to see if that helps provided you can Telnet back
in and uncomment them. }:-}
