Your guess is as good as mine...I am finding many inconsistencies between the
TS-7400 and it's manuals and how you purchase the TS-7400...
I purchased a TS-7400 with 128 MB flash and an onboard RTC... and I don't
believe the boot scripts are setup
correctly for yaffs2 ... argh...
I think their production of the TS-7260 is better than the TS-7400...
I didn't have half the problems I'm experiencing with the TS-7400 as with the
TS-7260....
I must of changed something on my flash recently cause I can no longer
flashboot...argh ...here's my
linuxrc-fastboot script , do you see something wrong? I have /mnt/root/fastboot
file so I can manually
switch linux bootscripts I am testing at the moment..
ln -sf /linuxrc-fastboot /linuxrc
save
exit
>> TS-FLASHBOOT - built Apr 4 2008
>> Copyright (c) 2007, Technologic Systems

Type 'tshelp' for help
$ exit
>> Booting Linux (using onboard flash)...
/linuxrc: 44: cannot open ./dev/ttyAM0: No such file
Is there a backup utility so I can copy the flash from my other TS-7400 board?

Jayne,
My $ more /proc/driver/rtc
more: /proc/driver/rtc: No such file or directory
I guess Technologic is having production issues...
You no doubt have spent as much time as I have looking through the ftp
site. You've probably seen my other posts, SD issues, ethernet, RTC. I
see many sdcard.o versions, no docs as to what they do. They seem to
be trying to clean the site up, I hope they succeed. I am not sure
how committed they are to the TS-7400 or is it TS-72xx or what?
David.
