Dear Friends,
I'm using spca5xx driver and vgrabbj or videodog to capture pictures
using usb webcam. On kernel 2.4.26-rc1 when I use vga resolution the
kernel hangs. I tried many camera models geting the same error.
If I use kernel 2.6.23 it works fine with any resolution.
If I use a lower resolution it works fine (352x288):
vgrabbj -o jpg -f t.jpg -d /dev/video0 -i cif
The command I use for vga (640x480) is :
vgrabbj -o jpg -f t.jpg -d /dev/video0 -i vga
It stops the kernel and gives the following message :
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address
