Hello,

I try to write my own driver for SPI, dedicated for MAX522, under 2.4
kernel. TS-7300 board.
I would like to take advantage of interrupts, but every time I set
the TIE (Transmit Interrupt Enable) bit my whole system hangs. I do
it after filling all 8 buffer registers.

I've tried to set SSE bit along with TIE, like in the driver for 2.6
kernel, but that doesn't help.
http://marc.info/?l=linux-arm-kernel&m=118364323516641&q=p3

With other interrupts (overrun and receive) everything is OK.

Did anyone have similar problem ?
Is there a magic sequence to enable this interrupt ?

Thank You
Miron
