I got it from here ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/images/mbr/sd_default
Looks like it matches with the sample SD-card image
losetup /dev/loop2 <mbr-file>
then I can do fdisk /dev/loop2
It will show predefinite partition table for a stock image. That means mbr image contains some more componentst then just a thumb loader. It would be nice to get it explained. As I said I'm going to create separate partition images in standard sector sizes of 512 bytes. Then create a partition table which will match images size and then add 446 bytes of the loader code from MBR or the sector 0.
