Although I suppose you are using Debian...
There's a different kernel build for the TS-7400, see:

I have access to both a TS-7300 and TS-7400 and although I haven't
tried to do what you have I would suspect it won't work without
changes in many areas. Just copying a working TS-7300 system has the
potential to fail on a TS-7400 for a multitude of reasons.
Also as Peter pointed out, you'd be making and having the board
execute code that tries to talk to some hardware that's not there. You
could run into similar issues in that the TS-7300 filesystem is setup
to download code to the Cycloone II FPGA, for example.
