Hi

I also see that the Marvel CPU does have a PCI Express 1x port.

Is it possible to access that in some way maybe?
These days you can buy dedicated PCI express SerDes chips at some placed 
so it can be relatively easy to implement. Or not that much more 
difficult that PCI.

And it will be fast enough.. as in theory it can support 250MB/s. (wiki)
Anything above 30 will be good for me :)

Maybe signal integrity becomes a bit difficult at 2.5Ghz :/
