Yes, the TS-7400 is the only one of the TS ep9302 boards to expose the
i2s pins (i2s or AC97).

It should be do-able, depending on your frequency.  Not sure what
kernel you are planning, but you might want to look at the HRT (high
resolution timers) in recent 2.6 kernels.  HRT should help bitbanging
without too high CPU load.
