Hi, I just learned about TS and the 7800, and I'm very interested in
this board. One feature I especially like is the FPGA on the PCI bus.
I have experience with Xilinx FPGAs (Spartan IIIe) and Verilog, as
well as embedded linux/Arm systems. I peeked at the Lattice site and
see that they offer a free version of their software (ispLever
Starter) which suppoorts the ECP2 FPGA on the 7800.
My main question is : What is the status of the HDL code for the stock
FPGA configurations from TS : is it open-source by any chance ?
Also : Is there any problem with using some of the Lattice FPGA pins
as LVDS inputs ? I know the chip has this ability; I'm just wondering
if anything about the 7800 board might make this problematic....
Thanks for any info,
Jeff
