Hi -

There are some xsens IDs in the ftdi USBSerial driver, in 2.6, but I 
haven't used it.  The ftdi driver has been around quite a while, so 
I would think any issues have been ironed out by now.

In fact, it's even in the 2.4 kernel, but without the xsens device 
IDs.  You could easily add them and rebuild the module, if you'd 
like to stick to 2.4 kernels.
